Public Liability Insurance 2021/2022

Public Liability insurance, with a Limit of Indemnity of £10,000,000 per claim plus legal costs, is in place to provide relevant cover for all recognised schemes and Neighbourhood Watch volunteers carrying out their roles across England and Wales. The insurance is extended to include cover for Products Liability up to £10,000,000 a year, and Employer’s Liability. This cover is paid for by Neighbourhood Watch Network.

Access Insurance Services, a Charity specialist Chartered Broker, has arranged this comprehensive cover with RSA Insurance Group plc at a very competitive premium — recognising the important community role which volunteers undertake across the movement.

The protection will continue to include cover for Community Emergency Planning Committees and ‘emergency neighbourly acts’ if undertaken under the Neighbourhood Watch banner, and Personal Accident cover for co-ordinators under the age of 80 years whilst they are undertaking tasks on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch.
